Indo-Chinese Chilli Chicken

Every street food lover’s dream! This mouthwatering chilli chicken can be served as an appetizer or as an entree.     Marinate the Chicken
  • In a bowl, add the chicken, ginger-garlic paste, a pinch of salt, soy sauce, vinegar, all purpose flour, corn starch, kashmiri red chilli powder, brown sugar and egg white. Mix thoroughly and keep it aside for 15 mins.
  • Deep Frying
  • Take the marinated chicken and deep fry them.
  • Assembling it All Together
  • In a small wok or saucepan, add oil and heat it for 1 minute. Add sliced green chilli’s, bell peppers, onion, chopped garlic, grated ginger and sauté for about 1-2 minutes.
  • Add the ketchup, soy sauce, vinegar, and salt. In a small bowl, take 2 tablespoon of water and 1 tsp of cornstarch. Mix it well and add to the sauté.
  • Finally, add the fried chicken and cook for 2 mins.

Notes

  • I used Chings sauces and Heinz ketchup
  • I used dark meat/chicken thighs
  • I also added some black pepper for additional heat
