  • In a saucepan, add 1/2 cup of water and bring it to boil. Now add the Onions, Ginger, Garlic and Cashews. Let it boil until Onion becomes translucent.
  • Now cool the boiled onion, cashew and ginger-garlic and add it into a blender along with fresh green chilli. Make a fine paste. This is how the curry gets its silky texture so it is very important that the paste is fine.
  • In a pan, add oil and whole spices. Once the whole spices have slightly started to fry, add the onion-cashew paste.
  • Cook the paste for about 2-3 minutes and add salt, cumin powder, garam masala and coriander powder. Once you mix the spices, then add the paneer cubes.
  • In a small bowl, add 1/2 cup water and yoghurt and mix well.
  • Mix the yoghurt mixture into the saucepan with rest of curry and bring it to boil. Mix periodically as the curry tends to stick to the pan. Boil for 3-5 mins or until the Paneer becomes soft.
  • Now serve and enjoy!
