Reshami Murgh | Creamy Chicken Curry

Ever have those days where you just want to eat something different compared to your regular go-to curries? Well wonder no more. This easy and quick chicken curry is sure to hit the spot with super buttery texture of the chicken along with mildly spiced creamy curry. Go on and try this out! do let me know how it turns out!

  • Marinate the chicken cubes with some chicken masala and greek yoghurt for minimum of 30 mins. I typically leave it overnight.
  • In a pan, bring 1/2 cup water to boil and add onion, ginger, garlic and cashews to it. Boil until the water evaporates.
  • In a blender, add the boiled onions, ginger, garlic and cashews along with some green chillies. Make a fine paste.
  • In the same pan, heat oil and add the whole spices.
  • Now add the paste and saute until oil starts to separate.
  • Now add all the dry spices. Mix well.
  • Now you can add the marinated chicken and some water. (TIP: mix water with 2 tablespoons of heavy cream).Cover and cook for about 15 mins on a low flame.
  • Garnish and serve hot with Naan or Rice!
