Matar Paneer | Paneer and Peas Curry

This curry is so close to my heart that I make this atleast once per week. Simple and quick weekday lunch/dinner and goes well with Rice or Roti. Try this recipe out and let me know what you think!

  • In a blender, add tomato, onion, ginger, garlic and cashews. Make a fine paste.
  • In a pan, heat oil and add bay leaves.
  • Now pour in the tomato paste and saute until the oil starts to leave the sides.
  • Now add all the dry spices. mix well.
  • Now you can add the peas and paneer.
  • Add 1/4th cup water and bring it to boil until paneer and peas are cooked thoroughly.
  • Serve hot with naan or rice.
