An all time favorite of rice lovers. This dish can be enjoyed on its own or paired with a curry, dal, or kebabs. Enjoyed by everyone during parties, this dish is literally effortless and can also be made with leftover rice. - In a pan, add ghee/oil and caramelize the sliced onion and keep it aside for garnishing in the end.
- In the same pan, add ghee/oil, cumin seeds, mixed vegetables, and tomato puree. Cook for 5 minutes, covered until all the water from tomato puree evaporates.
- Now add the garam masala, salt, sugar and biryani masala. You can also add some red chilli powder if you want it to be a little hot. cook until oil separates.
